Policies and Procedures
NIGHTLY MINIMUMS:
Please note that there is a two-night minimum at all times except during
the high season. (March-December) and holidays, when we have a 3 night
minimum. Please contact us for details!
PAYMENT:
Reservations are secured with a credit card at time of reservation.
50% of the rental fee and taxes will be due within a week of making the
reservation by check or money order. The balance is charged to your
credit card 30 days prior to your arrival date, unless otherwise noted.
All Payments made by the Guest shall be deposited in an escrow account with Gomountains, LLC. In accordance with North Carolina law, disclosure is hereby given that the agent escrow account is not interest bearing.
Reservations CANNOT be transferred to another person. Party paying for the reservation must be one of the guests staying in the rental.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
We charge a security deposit of $150.
This deposit is refundable at checkout, provided there has been no damage to the unit.
CLEANING FEE
A Cleaning Fee of $50 will be added.
OTHER CHARGES AND FEES:
A Fee of $35 will be charged for all returned
checks.
All reservations incur 7% NC Sales Tax.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES:
Cancellations made at least 31 days prior to arrival
will be refunded the deposit minus a $50 Cancellation Fee.
All changes made at least 31 days prior to arrival
will incur a $10 Change Fee.
The full amount is non-refundable for cancellations made within 31 days
of arrival, unless we are able to re-rent the property for the same time
period or any portion of dates as your original reservation.
A home that is unacceptable to the guest is considered a cancellation.
Guests are responsible for all nights reserved regardless of late
arrival or early departure.
Gomountains,. LLC is not responsible for the weather or other Acts of God and there will be no refunds for damages resulting from said events.
PET POLICY:
No pets allowed.
SMOKING:
Smoking inside the rental homes is PROHIBITED. All units are
NON-SMOKING. Smoking is permitted in all outside areas.
OCCUPANCY:
Maximum Occupancy Violations will result in rent forfeiture and
immediate eviction of guests. Guests will restrict occupancy to limit at
all times.
Absolutely no house parties, youth groups, fraternities, sororities, weddings, receptions, meetings, or parties allowed. Gomountains does not rent to students or groups of students under any circumstance, even if a parent or legal adult makes the reservation and/or pays the rent. If such a group attempts to occupy one of our rental properties, all monies will be forfeited and guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately.
MECHANICAL FAILURES AND REPAIRS:
Gomountains does routine inspections to make sure
all appliances and amenities are functioning properly. In the event of
mechanical failures such as, but not limited to, Hot Tubs, Air
Conditioning, Jacuzzis, or any other appliance that fails to operate
properly during your stay, Gomountians will not
be held responsible. These failures are beyond our control and no refund
or rent reduction will be given. Please report inoperative equipment to
the Gomountains Hosts will make every effort to
have repairs done as quickly as possible during reasonable hours.
ACCIDENTS:
Guest agrees to hold Gomountains harmless for any
accident or injury whatsoever that may occur on the rental property
during occupancy, except to the extent that such injury or accident is caused by the gross negligence of Gomountains, its agents and/or assigns.
WHAT TO BRING :
Every rental is equipped with linens, towels, cooking utensils (coffee
maker as well), and some cleaning implements. Unless specified, other
amenities are not provided. Each rental is equipped with a smoke
detector for you protection. Please check it upon arrival to ensure your
safety (sometimes batteries die and go unnoticed). Please contact the
Host immediately if the detector is not working.
CLEANING:
Gomountains Cabin is professionally cleaned before you arrive and
after you leave. Please report within 4 hours anything we fail to clean.
Guests are responsible for cleaning and storing all dishes, utensils,
and removing all trash to the appropriate outside container. Failure to
do so will result in additional charges.
PERSONAL ITEMS:
Gomoutaians, LLC is not responsible for Guests' personal belongings
that are lost, stolen, or left behind. A $20 Retrieval Fee will be charged, and if found, the items will be returned at the Guests'
expense.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT:
CHECK-IN IS AFTER 4PM. Check-in before 2PM, if property is available,
incurs a $20 Fee plus sales tax.
CHECK-OUT IS AT 11AM. If the property is not vacated at 11AM, Gomountains is authorized to remove your belongings from the property.
We appreciate your acceptance of these conditions and terms of agreement.
